Franco Abdala-Arata is a freshman in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences majoring in Economics with a double minor in Financial Economics and Entrepreneurship & Management. Franco was born in Cordoba, Argentina, but grew up mostly in Potomac, MD. In high school, he led an art service project to paint portraits of neglected children living in Argentina’s “Villas Miserias”. Franco also managed a student-run coffee shop at the end of his senior year and donated all $4,000+ of the profits to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Inspired by his previous experiences, Franco is looking forward to working on Project Charmify’s Finance Team to help spark change in the Oldtown neighborhood and connect with many of the local community members.
