Indu Radhakrishnan is a sophomore Public Health major in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences at Johns Hopkins. She has lived in many places, but is currently from Northern Virginia. She is a volunteer tutor and classroom assistant for Refugee Youth Project and is part of various public health organizations. For a summer, she interned with the Children's Defense Fund's National Freedom Schools Department as part of her lifelong mission to empower and serve children, minorities, and underrepresented populations. She is an R programmer at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, finding larger treatment and preventative trends and focusing on creating user-friendly interfaces for physicians. Indu is happiest when working with driven young people, and is looking forward to hearing community perspectives and learning from high school students in engaging workshops.
